Dear God,
What message would you have me share with humanity today?
My Dear Beloved Divine Children:
There is a timeless Golden Rule that says: “Do unto others
as you would have them do unto you.” (Leviticus 19:18, Matthew 7:12). I have also expressed this in other religious
text also.
For example, Plato’s Socrates stated, “One should never do
wrong in return, nor mistreat any man, nor matter, how one has been mistreated
by him. (c. 469 BC – 399 BCE). Further
back the Ancient Egyptian concept appearing in the story of The Eloquent Peasant
(c. 2040 – 1650 BCE) says, “Now is the command: Do to the doer to cause that he
does.”
The Baha’i Faith says, “Ascribe not to any soul that which
wouldst not have ascribed to thee and say not though does not.” Also, “Blessed is he who preferred his
brother before himself.” Buddhists say,
“Putting oneself in the place of another, one should not kill nor cause another
to kill.”
In Christianity, Luke 6:31 states “Do to others as you want
them to do to you.” While Muhammad, in
the Farewell Sermon according to Islam said, “Hurt no one so that no one may
hurt you.” The Quran also commends, “None
of you [truly] believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for
himself.
In Judaism (and Christianity’s Old Testament), Leviticus
19:18 reads, “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against your
kinfolk. Love your neighbor as
yourself. I am the LORD.” Also, in Leviticus 19:34, “The stranger who
resides with you shall be to you as one of y our citizens, you shall love him
as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD am your GOD.”
In the Taoism, it states: “Regard you neighbor’s gain as
your own, and your neighbor’s loss as your own loss.
In Hinduism, you will read “One should never do that to
another which one regards as injurious to one’s own self. This, in brief, is the rule of dharma. Other behavior is due to selfish
desires.” Humanism generally states the
same principle: “do not treat people in a way you would not wish to be treated
yourself.”
The Golden Rule can best be summed up in one powerful word –
LOVE. Jesus passed a commandment to his disciples – one that has often been
ignored throughout centuries by man. It
is best said in John 13:34, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one
another. Just as I have loved you, you
should also love one another.” Ignored
countless times in history, especially by Christians and Christians in
government and leadership positions by examples of killing through wars,
weapons of mass destruction, assassination plots, covert operations, oppression
of people, enslavement of people, starvation, hunger, and homelessness. Yet, our leaders appear so “holy” as if they
have not sinned by going to worship services seeking forgiveness of their
trespasses repeatedly. Do you think I have
not taken notice of these transgressions?
Of course, to Christianity, Jesus had died for our sins -- however,
don’t you and I think this is pushing the limits just a little too far?
Let this Golden Rule carry on as a guiding light into the
new world as you gradually begin to shed your hatred and anger towards each
other within your own country, but also among nations as well. Practice and share your peace and forgiveness
among countries and your neighbors, and they will manifest the same in your
lives. However, the exact opposite will
also occur. Practice that of violence
and war against your neighbors and citizens of other countries, and the exact
same will be manifested unto you with all the pain, misery and suffering associated
with war and violence.
Therefore, watch who you appoint or elect to your
governmental offices of responsibility and accountability less they lead your
nation astray into war mongering efforts once they get into office. Do not express negative, false, or misleading
statements against these leaders if they are known to be untrue unless the same
is brought about you. For your behaviors,
either positive or negative, will also find a way of manifesting itself through
the universe. Use caution for the universe
is always listening.
Therefore, follow Jesus’ commandment: “…that you love one
another. Just as I have loved you, you
should also love one another.”
I LOVE YOU ALL AND SEND BLESSINGS TO ALL OF YOU.
I AM, Yours Truly and always available.
~LK
